I wrote this back in January and never went back to it, I must work on it more sometime as its a bit rough, but putting it out there now as a work in progress.
Think of Today. – draft.
As the new year stirs from the sleeping giant of yesterday,
thoughts of new challenges awaken the soul.
As the dawn breaks through the stillness of the night
dreams are renewed by the gentle breath of light,
As the snow gently leaves to reveal the warming land below,
future plans are dusted off and become the here and now.
As the nations struggle with the residuals of financial chaos,
national stability has become individuals ambition.
As 2011 starts a new decade in this age of technology,
increased communication opens the door for opportunity
As you read this, think of today, plan for tomorrow and
dream for the coming years.
