iMoot Course Creator Challenge Results Announced!

Today the results of the 4 day Course Creator Challenge for iMoot 2011 were announced. I am copying here the announcement from the iMoot 2011 site.

We are proud to announce the results of the 4 day Course Creator Challenge for iMoot 2011.

The quality of courses was amazing, even though the authors only had four days of iMoot 2011 to create them.

Our choices for best courses in the Course Creator Challenge were:

Best in Show
“I can change the world” – Alja Isakovic

Runners up
“Surviving the Great iMoot Climate Change” – Drew Mortensen
“Global Warming and Climate Change” – Sigi Jakob-Kühn

The public favourite matched our own:

iMoot Peoples Choice
“I can change the world” – Alja Isakovic

The courses show many things moodlers are renowned for – creative, imaginative, accessible range of ideas, activities, structures, displays and content. We intend that all Course Creator Challenge courses will be published on MOOCH for anyone to see and even download. You’d be crazy not have at least a look!

We would like to thank all of you who supported this challenge by viewing, promoting, tweeting, discussing and voting.

Of course, the biggest thanks, kudos and credit go to ALL course authors who had a go. You made our (judging) job tough but very enjoyable. You have also, hopefully, inspired many moodlers out there.

Apologies for the delay in announcing results, it was beyond our control.

The winning authors will all receive a copy of thePackt Publishing Moodle 2.0 for Business book by Jason Cole, Jeanne Cole and Gavin Henrick.

We will be in contact with the winners directly about the prize.

Happy moodling !

  1. Do you have links for the winning courses? I attempted to locate them on MOOCH and wasn’t successful.
