Moodle 2.3.2 is available

For all you who are enjoying Moodle 2.3 and all the goodies that came with it, HQ have now made available the latest update Moodle 2.3.2.

As always it is a good thing to upgrade the latest version – this version includes 300 fixes/tweaks compared to Moodle 2.3.1. The full 2.3.2 release notes are here

Some highlights for me

  • Shortcuts/aliases to Dropbox files now synchronise so if you want to keep a file in Dropbox  and reference it in many courses it all works as expected now!
  • The course layout can be set in course defaults.

The Moodle 2.2 and 2.1 versions also had a new release with

So it is time to get those upgrades planned!

*sigh* Seems like Themes that contain custom block areas (like Aardvark Postit and Aerie) are still not compatible with Moodle 2.3.x – at least I can’t find anything in the notes or the six pages of Moodle tracker issues that says it is fixed. 🙁

Tracker issue http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-34496 still open. Would appreciate a vote, Gavin. 🙂
